Nocturnal
I start my walk at twilight, traversing the city for faces and scenes worth preserving. A lady invites me in for dinner and I accept her offer. I take a portrait of her and leave. On the same street, a security guard looks on in vigil as his colleague walks by. I photograph the scene and journey on. The street lights shine brighter with every passing hour. The vehicles driving by are scarce now. As the lights and sounds from the pubs dwindle, the chirps of crickets permeate the air. Everyone seeks for a lull before bedtime, but I still wander.
